- Operate groomer to push snow and till slopes and trails safely and efficiently, in all weather conditions.
- Keep accurate records of daily maintenance and checks on machines.
- Perform safety pre and post inspections, completing all necessary documentation and check lists as per department standards, reporting any areas of concern to the Outdoor Operations Supervisor.
- Report on trail conditions to Outdoor Operations Manager and other team members, as needed.
- Complete minor repair and maintenance on grooming equipment.
- Operate equipment as per White Hills Safety Policies & Procedures. Occupational Health & Safety Act & Regulations.
- Ready to take on any challenges or to help other team members when needed.
Duties and responsIbilities
Qualifications:
- 18 years of age or over.
- Previous experience in operating heavy equipment and snow grooming.
- Mechanically inclined with working knowledge of grooming equipment and systems (ie hydraulics, hydrostatics and implements)
- Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Must be able to work evenings, overnights, weekends and extended hours as needed.
- Must have a valid license with a clean Driver Abstract.
Salary: Salary range $25.50 to $27.50 depending on experience and training.
